What Cerro brings to Wine Country — a proposition, not a photograph.

A Spring Mountain vineyard estate adapting a 1920s working-ranch barn into the principal residence, with a small modern addition carrying its vocabulary forward. Reclaimed barn-oak siding and structural timber preserved and expressed, limewash walls in cool sage-cream at the addition, hand-forged iron at gates and lanterns, natural linen textiles throughout. An agrarian-vernacular proposition refined without being sanitized — the Backen lineage carried forward into the next generation.

Studio Study · not a delivered project. This page is a Cerro design proposition for this market — a representative interpretation, not a photograph of a home that exists. If you have a house in Wine Country and want a conversation, write us.
