About the role
Our Interior Designers are the engine of the studio. You will support our senior designers on two to three projects, handling a significant share of the documentation, sourcing, and day-to-day project execution. This is a role for someone three to six years into their career who wants to work hard, learn from talented people, and grow into running their own projects within three years.
What you’ll do
- Develop CAD drawings, elevations, details, and specification packages under senior designer direction
- Source materials, furnishings, lighting, art; build and maintain project binders and specs
- Produce client presentation documents and mood boards
- Coordinate with the FF&E team on purchase orders, tracking, and expediting
- Attend site meetings, document site conditions, and track punch lists
- Maintain project files, meeting notes, and client communications
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of experience at a residential interior design firm
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated design sensibility and strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field
- Organized, dependable, and energized by working on long projects
Nice to have
- Experience on residential projects over $1M construction budget
- Revit and Enscape familiarity
- NCIDQ progress
